Babies!
We recently had a sweet surprise at our house — three baby bunnies! We truly were not expecting any, as our rabbits accidentally got together, so we’ve been keeping a close eye on mama and babies to make sure everyone is doing well. It has been such a special little blessing to have right before Easter, and we’re excited to share part of that journey here.
With Easter being a time when many people start thinking about getting bunnies, I also want to gently remind anyone looking to buy, adopt, breed, or rehome rabbits that bunnies are not just a holiday pet. They are wonderful, loving animals, but they require daily care, proper housing, fresh food and water, regular cleaning, enrichment, and lots of time and attention. Rabbits can be incredibly rewarding companions, but they do take commitment, patience, and money to care for properly. If you are considering bringing one home, please make sure you are ready for the responsibility and that your bunny will be loved and cared for long after the Easter season has passed.
