New plant growth
As spring arrives and new growth begins popping up in your yard, it’s important to be mindful of what your bunny may come into contact with. Many common spring flowers—such as tulips, hyacinth, and daffodils—are toxic to rabbits and should never be fed to them or grazed on. Be cautious about where your bunny roams, especially in areas where these plants may be growing. When in doubt, it’s always best to keep it out of their diet. On the bright side, some natural springtime growth like clover and dandelions can be safe and enjoyable treats for your rabbit when offered in moderation. As always, a balanced diet is key to keeping your bunny healthy and happy. In our yard, we also make it a priority to avoid using any pesticides or chemicals, ensuring that the space remains safe for both us and our rabbits to enjoy.
